Much like her namesake Queen Elizabeth, Miss Elizabeth was the life of the party — a fan of dancing and the finer things in life. We can’t think of a better way to honor her legacy than to encourage others to enjoy the same fun and energy that was her calling card. The Elizabeth puts you right in the heart of one of Gainesville’s most exciting and entertaining districts. Situated just north of Downtown, The Elizabeth is a short distance from some of the city’s biggest draws and rich historic culture. Highlights like the Curia on the Drag and the Swamp Head Brewery harken back to the bustling nightlife of Gainesville, and Gateway Park and the farmer’s market showcase some of the best that local growers, artisans, and craftsmen have shared for hundreds of years.
